at Backpackers Villa. Our hotel is centrally located in the heart
of Interlaken (Hohematte). Our reception is open daily from 7.30 -
11 am and from 4 - 9 pm. If you arrive during the day you can
deposit your luggage in our free lockers at corridor (CHF 2.- as
deposit).
For late arrivals until 11
pm ring the bell at front door. At check-in you will get
your personal key. This gives you 24h-access at our front door (no
curfew and lockout!), to your room, the kitchen and to your
personal locker! At our friendly sitting room you will find 24h
Internet access and TV with international programs.
Large garden with table
tennis, billiard and play ground, at our large garden you will
find table tennis, billiard, play ground and a lot space just to
relax and enjoy the manific view to the mountains.

This wooden
chalet is over 150 years old and was first a hotel called Meadow
Lodge and later Hotel Quisisana. From 1932 -
1997 it was used as a rest home for eldery people and was called
"Alters- und Erholungsheim Sonnenhof".
In the
beginnig of the year 1998 we did some renovations and opened up
30th of May 1998 Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof.
